New Hostess Credit

Stampin' Up has changed the hostess credits.  I think you are just going to love the new system.
Instead of picking from a "level", you get to "spend money."
The new system is great. Here is how it works: if your workshop total before tax is $150.00 you get to spend $25.00 from the Hostes Section.
Take a look at the Hostess Section in the 2011-2012 Idea Book.  Just click on the catalog at the left.
You may just want to book a workshop just to get the hostess stamp sets.

New Mini Catalog

The new mini catalog is here. Check out the new stamps, designer papers, punches, and embossing powders.  I can't wait to order the embossing powders.  They remind me of sherbert.

And with it will bring a close to the Mini Catalog Sale and the Sneak Preview Stamp Set  and Designer Paper sales.
Let me know if you "need" anything before it's too late.

Have a great weekend!

The next time I post I'll show you what we learned at Stamp Club this month.  I, also, tell you a little more about Stamp Club.

A new addition

We had a new addition to our family. I became a great aunt. My brother's oldest son became a dad Sunday afternoon.
Please welcome Kody Raye!

Trying to get caught up

Here are the cards we have made over the past month and a half at my workshops.  Hopefully after today I can keep my blog up to date. If you see a card you like and want to know how I made it, just email me at djwilson86@gmail.com.

I like this design better.  We sponged
Bashful Blue on for the sky.

This card we used Bashful Blue CS for the
sky and the Build A Cupcake Punch for
the clouds.

I found this card on Andrea Walford's
website.  I did do a couple of things different.

Thanks To My Hostesses

Here are some of the hostess "thank yous" I have given.

Note pad holder
I used Pacific Point, Old Olive, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White CS, Old Olive DSP, Melon Mambo Ribbon, and Three Little Words stamp set.

 Another note pad holder
This one I use a watercolor technique.  I used retired DSP and stamp sets.

Nugget Box
I just love the Pacific Point color. I used the card stock and ink pad on this box.  Blueberry Crips DSP, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand CS, and A Little Something stamp set (retired) were the supplies used of this box.

This is the treat box

This is the treat box we made.
All the guest enjoyed making them.

My First Workshop

Samantha was my very first hostess. She's just a great daughter.
I thought for my very first workshop it went great. We made 2 cards and a treat holder.

I didn't really like the color I chose for the icing.  After I had it all put together, I wished I had just left it white.

I liked this one.  I thought it turned out cute.
